Sukhavana
SGS Birds Rehabilitation Centre (Shukavana) is located in the picturesque Mysore, near the foot of Chamundi Hill, among natural surroundings. Many parrots are rehabilitated here, housed in most habitable conditions and looked after by a professional team of caretakers, volunteers and veterinarians. His Holiness Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji founded this center and looks after parrots with personal attention. This initiative is in the Guiness Book for the most number of bird species at one location.
Bonsai Garden
Asia’s largest Bonsai Garden with more than 50 Bonsai plants is located in Avadootha Dattapeetham Mysore.
